Project Jaren '30

Boasting good bones, original stained glass windows, and handmade tiles, yet burdened by outdated electrics, plumbing, and floors, this 1930s house underwent a comprehensive renovation to restore its former glory.

The design and renovation breathed new life into the space, revealing its inherent charm and potential.

A reimagined spatial flow, complemented by the recurring graceful arches and bamboo wood accents, instills a sense of cohesion and tranquility throughout the home. By continuing the kitchen with custom fronts into the dining area a sense of connection is created between the two spaces and provides additional storage. Upstairs, a clever wardrobe solutions was made underneath the attic stairs, while sage green tiles and terrazzo floors were brought into the bathroom.

As a finishing touch of unexpected charm, the green-toned powder room with large crane birds and a vintage brass sconce evokes the idea of a precious jewelry box, infusing the home with a delightful surprise.
