PROJECT

WOESTDUIN

The living floor of this duplex apartment was fully renovated – a transformation that is immediately apparent upon entering. Here we converted the landing to the upper floor into a wardrobe, featuring new double glass doors that reach all the way to the ceiling.

Although the kitchen is separated from the living room, we opened up the space by removing walls and integrating the tall kitchen cabinets, creating a more connected family space.

In the kitchen, we further maximized the space by replacing the balcony doors with a large window, allowing the kitchen cabinets to continue beneath. The deep blue wooden fronts add warmth and character, while the light upper cabinets maintain a fresh and airy feel. A cozy seating area with a fold-out coffee table completes the space, making it both inviting and multifunctional.

More color and atmosphere were key wishes, for the overall home, and the guest bathroom as well. This space was transformed with a raspberry-red hue, tiled from floor to ceiling, complemented by a classic black-and-white mosaic floor and brass accents.

The carefully re-newed lighting plan provided the finishing touch to this warm, surprising family home with an open and inviting character.
